I feel some concern for my siblings, because they aren't as attentive as I think they should be, but I understand their reasons, whether they're financial, family or just not being able to handle the progressive stages of the disease. Some people just can't do this!!...It's not easy!!

I wish that reading materials and education on the things we need to know were provided free of charge. I cannot afford to purchase these.

There where many, many trials and tribulations along the way. I was told a friend that Mom would have hated the person she had become. Her reply was "Yes she would have, but she would have loved the person you have become." Caregiving was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life and the most rewarding. It matured me into a strong loving, caring, compassionate person that my Mother will always be proud of.
